Surprised by the three stars! I've been here once for takeout and yesterday for a weeknight dinner. The portions are reasonable (we both left full and satisfied!) and waiter was nice and efficient. I had the spicy seafood champon noodles which was definitely spicy and the noodles were perfect! Lots of shrimp and onions/veggies, two mussels, and some squid. My husband thought the tonkatsu ramen pork slices were too fatty, but I thought they were delicious and helped him out :P He enjoyed the noodles and broth. Fried squid legs were a-ok. I'd go for the fried chicken next time! Would come back if I'm in the area for a quick tasty meal. Clean decor with pop music playing, quiet conversations among 4-5 tables. Bathroom door, when you lock it, did not shut though.

Good service Work in the area and stumbled onto this restaurant today. I came in for a quick lunch. Japanese curry ramen and a Orion Japanese beer The service was pleasant, quick and delightful. I would definitely patronize this establishment again. The noodles were cooked just right to taste and I didn't feel the broth contained too much sodium. If you're looking for a quick bite that is tasty and satisfying - Ramen Takum is ideal. Stop by!!'

This is a nice neighborhood ramen place where we got a quick lunch during a week day. The service and food here is very good. I had the classic ramen and made it into a lunch set. For an additional $5 you get a side salad and rice bowl with topping (I got the curry sauce while my partner got the chicken). It was also nice touch that we got a complimentary maki roll before lunch. The ramen was good but the broth is more like Ippudo's than Toto's (I prefer Toto's style over Ippudo's). Definitely worth a try if you are in the area.

Mom and I had a craving for ramen on a cold day but didn't want to go anywhere. Ramen takumi saved the day! Within 25 minutes we had 2 hot bowls in our hands on the couch. My mom had the curry ramen which was delicious. My extra spicy tan tan men was even better. The broth came separated from the meats and veggies so nothing went soggy. Will be ordering from here again!

Ramen Takumi is a fine place if you're looking to satisfy a ramen craving in Murray Hill. While it may not be the BEST ramen bar in the city, it's at least worthy of filling your stomach for one solid meal. I stumbled upon this place because I was passing by, it looked busy and the atmosphere was clean and authentic. I had the tan-tan ramen. The ramen was quite good if you like a bite in your noodle. The broth and chicken in it was just decent at best. The egg was good but not the best soft boiled egg around. The service is really attentive and quick too. Overall, a bit pricey for decent ramen but it's a fine establishment.
